A Central Illinois native, Mike Mahorney serves as a Benefits Account Manager with Nicoud Insurance. Mike works with groups helping manage their employee benefits package. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has been with Nicoud since 2001. Mike lives in Springfield with his wife and three sons.

Bethany Marsaglia joined Nicoud Insurance in 2004 as a Claims Specialist. Since 2008 she has served as a Commercial Account Manager and earned her CISR designation. Currently she is serving in the capacity of an Insurance Advisor helping medium to large businesses reach their risk management objectives. She has eight years of prior financial experience in the banking industry. Bethany was born and raised in Central Illinois and currently resides in Rochester with her husband and two children.

A graduate of Benedictine University and the University of Illinois, Jim is an Illinois native, a resident of Springfield for over 30 years and is very active in his local community. Jim joined Nicoud with an extensive management, consulting and training background, preparing him well to deliver risk management solutions that go beyond insurance. Jim is also a licensed Property & Casualty professional and can also assist individuals with auto and homeowners insurance.

Jim Turner has recently joined Nicoud Insurance as the Commercial Account Executive. He comes to the agency with 25 plus years of Property & Casualty as well as Commercial and Personal Lines experience. Jim attended Cal State San Bernardino. He has his Associate in Underwriting (AU) and his Associate in General Insurance (AINS). Jim moved from Southern California in 1989 and has been a resident of Riverton for 14 years. He and his wife Sharon have three children and four grandchildren who all reside in the Springfield area.

Patti Tobin joined the Community BancInsurance Services division of Nicoud Insurance September, 2011 as an FI specialist. Patti works with financial clients protecting their unique insurance, bond, and professional liability exposures. She comes to the agency with 30 years insurance experience; 12 years exclusively-dedicated to Financial Institutions. Patti’s formal education includes Metropolitan College of St. Louis University and she holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Her personal pursuits include teaching, volunteering with the homeless, and other charitable endeavors.

Tom has 18 years of experience helping his clients reduce risk from the unexpected curve balls that life throws. He is an active member of the community in his 8-year service as Chairman of the administrative committee of the City Council. He is a graduate of Springfield College and Quincy College. Tom resides in Chatham with his wife and three children.
